TV3

TV3 is a New Zealand commercial television network, owned by MediaWorks New Zealand. Launched on 26 November 1989, it was the first private television network in New Zealand, ending the monopoly that Television New Zealand and its predecessors held since the first television broadcasts 29 years previous. The network broadcasts nationally on analogue and all major digital platforms.

TV3 is general entertainment channel with a significant news and current affairs element under the banner of 3 News.
