NOTE: When writing to a holiday park for reservations, please specify the type of accommodation required (e.g., tent site, power site, cabin, flat, etc.), the number in the party and whether adults or children and the ages of the children.

This enables the proprietor or manager to allocate the most suitable unit available and save additional correspondence for both parties. For instance, a particular four- berth cabin may be very comfortable for two parents and two small children but may not be quite as suitable for two couples. Also there is some variation as to the age at which a child becomes an adult for tariff purposes and without information as to ages, charges cannot be quoted.
